Guest guest
Is the Firm bad? My husband says yoga is new age and does not want it in the house. The Firm is strength training combined with intervals of cardio. I have used it for years. Is it bad for me? Thanks!
Guest guest
I don't know anything about the Firm but if it involves cardio it probably isn't good until you get your adrenals strengthened. Hatha Yoga is nothing more than stretching exercises, not the spiritual type. He wouldn't even know it was yoga Lynda Re: A question about exercise > Is the Firm bad? Guest guest
Ann , I am currently on 33mg HC (since a week ago) and I go to the Wellness Center 2-3 times weekly and do weight machines and probably 1/2 to 1 mile on tread mill. Has not had a noticeably negative effect. I do still need help sleeping but I feel mostly good during the day. I'm trying to keep flab on upper torso from getting out of control. I also have a mini trampoline which I do a couple times weekly for 12 minute intervals. Delores A question about exercise > I have been an exerciser for many years. Guest guest
Did you feel better overall when exercising? Or was it just during the excercise? It could be that you got used to the adrenaline rush while excercising and it gave you more energy for a bit. It is also possible that you have just progressed farther along on the spectrum of adrenal fatigue. Personally, there is no way I could exercise right now. I would fall over and then be useless for days. That isn't to say that a gentle form of excercise wouldn't be helpful for others. I think the key would be if it leave s you feeling more tired later in the day or even the next day, then you are doing too much. The more stress you put yon your adrenals the longer it will take them to heal. Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
