What is the quality of pain? It's mostly the front thigh muscles. I take 3 different pain killers in the am, wait for an hour or so, and then I still have to crawl to a chair and use my arm muscles to get up. They loosen up as the day goes on, mostly because I keep taking pain meds. Whenever I lie down, back to square one. > Does it go past your knee? Yes. There is some in the back of my calves extending to the Achilles. > When is it > there? Worse in the morning, with use. > What makes it worse and better? I've been loading up on Mg, internally and externally and it doesn't seem to help. Only thing that helps is pain medication. Massage was nice, but didn't help at all. She said my leg muscles are stiff (better believe it!) Worse with use. If I go for a walk, bike, or swim, I pay for it the next am. The Achilles pain that was so bad before improved with chelation. Chelation isn't helping this time. > How long have you had it? > Since I overheated last summer. The neurologist is sending me for another MRI. He suggested thyroid, but an increase in thyroid meds didn't help. I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with my distorted back. I'm not well enough to travel to see my favorite pain specialist (in Ontario). Or maybe it's what they call spasticity in MS, but masked by my cortisol use. Thanks for your help. I'll be seeing my physiotherapist soon and a craniosacral expert in Sept. J > Thanks, > Dean >
