Guest guest
-----Original Message----- April 2007 that it showed that I had recurrent PSC( had transplant 12/2004) and it was in the " moderate phase " Nikki, I’m so sorry to hear about this latest development. As far as I know (not a doctor) PSC stages are numbered 1-4, so the best I could do is guess….. “Moderate” sounds like Stage 1-2?? Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight.... Whatever it Takes! Guest guest
athan: This is what they are telling me.....they say I am in stage 2 but the left lobe of my liver is deformed and they could not do two different types of PTC's on me....one they went between the breast bone and poked me with 45 needles then 1 1/2 weeks ago they went down with another ERCP and put dye into my left lobe and they could not get a wire (the size of lead in a mechanical pencil) then they went into my side with a needle and into the bile duct then around a corner and up into the bile duct on the right side of the left lobe......they could not get the needle into the bile ducts with either of these PTC's.....they did get to do a brushing and I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks for word on this brushing.....sitting on pins and needles.....
