In San Diego she should see Pockros at Scripps Green Clinic. In

Los Angeles, she can go to UCLA and see either Samy Saab or Dr Hahn.

Oh thanks so much. Thanks also to the other very nice person who

responded...Marie?? ..(I goofed and hit that dumb delete button before

I could reply....)In fact, Pockros has been my daughter's local

doctor since her '03 diagnosis. We absolutely adore him. We were just

hoping to land someone at USC and start to build a team of doctors for

her in LA. Dr Pockros suggested DR. (her resume looked

stellar!...and I am guessing they were classmates at USC), but we

found out she is no longer seeing patients. Maybe we will go the UCLA

route. Libby is moving from mid-Wilshire to an apartment in Studio

City so UCLA wouldn't be too far at all. Still looking for a good GP

and a dentist, if anyone has any ideas.

Love this list,

Mom to LIbby, 23 years old, psc '03, second year grad student at USC

film school, in love with a guy who doesn't care that she has a crappy

liver, and summer videographer for the U.S. women's soccer team.

Thank you very much, Marie. I will relay those names to my daughter.

Mom to Libby, 23 yo (psc '03)

....I think UCLA would be your daughter's best bet. Drs. Saab & Hahn

are the ones I keep hearing about as among the best. UCLA also has a

liver seminar once a year that is quite good. As to a dentist, mine is

in Mission Hills...His name is Jerome Kamei, and the phone number is

.
