Does anyone know if there is fish oil that is Mercury safe? I used to

take fish oil years ago when I was first diagnosed with UC and I felt

that it helped me, but then I stopped because I was worried about

Mercury, especially since I was starting to have kids. Since I'm still

hoping to maybe have one more, it's still an issue for me.

Hi Ruth;

Our son takes Carlson's Super Omega-3 Fish Oils:

http://www.carlsonlabs.com/product_detail.phtml?prodid=10012879

" THIS PRODUCT is regularly tested (using AOAC international protocols)

for freshness, potency and purity by an independent, FDA-registered

laboratory and has been determined to be fresh, fully potent and free

of detectable levels of mercury, cadmium, lead, PCB's and 28 other

contaminants. "

Best regards,

Dave
