It could be adrenal, the adrenal glands regulate blood pressure and temperature stability, temperature stress from hot or cold conditions can influence the body more if they are weak. The " gold standard " is the adrenal saliva test for a 4 times a day sample. The " home test " is temperature stability Have a read of this one http://thyroid-rt3.com/temperat.htm there is a link on that page to the " Dr Rind temperature chart " , it's worth taking your temperature 3 times a day as directed there and graphing the average for a few days to see what's going on. The adrenals group can direct you more http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Their FAQ Web site is here http://faqhelp.webs.com/ HC needn't lead to weight gain, if you are replacing what should be there in the first place then it should have no influence Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
