>I want to ask Val or Nick if i might be a candidate for HC. could my adrneals

be why i feel like this after swiming, even thought i am going so light and

gentle? i have always felt against the HC , but then i read the article on the

thyroid/adrenal site and wow..it made so much sense! how long do people need ot

be on it? do peopel gain weight? i am still trying to get the thyroid balanced

but i could use a scarecrow to point me in the right direction....thank you so

much for all your time and all you do Val and Nick.

It could be adrenal, the adrenal glands regulate blood pressure and

temperature stability, temperature stress from hot or cold conditions

can influence the body more if they are weak.

The " gold standard " is the adrenal saliva test for a 4 times a day

sample.

The " home test " is temperature stability

Have a read of this one

http://thyroid-rt3.com/temperat.htm

there is a link on that page to the " Dr Rind temperature chart " , it's

worth taking your temperature 3 times a day as directed there and

graphing the average for a few days to see what's going on.

The adrenals group can direct you more

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Their FAQ Web site is here http://faqhelp.webs.com/

HC needn't lead to weight gain, if you are replacing what should be

there in the first place then it should have no influence
