Guest guest
Thanks for the message . I have been on 10mg of coumadin for about a year. My INR was between 2.0 and 3.0. That was so I did not develop more blood cloths. I could stop taking my coumadin and get back on Loveanox shots which I can stop the day of the surgery then get back on right after the surgery. I know there are lots of risks, but I have to get rid of this hernia. Even if I have to get another transplant doctor to do it for me. I can not spend the rest of my life with this head growing out of my stomach. (How ever long that is). I am happy you came to my page and left a message. I have a wonderful group of friends there for support. Can you come back and leave a message about you? When were you listed. What symptoms are you going through? Lots of questions and I would like to get to know ya.. Thanks to all for the love and prayers !!! Ken Henshaw July 30, 2008 at 08:38 PM CDT Ken, 7 mg of coumadin is a pretty high dose if you take it daily. Is the doc not wanting to do hernia surgery because he does not want to lower your pt/inr into a safe operating level because of the risk of increased clotting? . psc 5/6 listed.
