Guest guest
Jilian:I always struggle with that issue. I asked him what does he think the future of my liver will be? He tells me he does not know as most ppl suffering with PSC experience different outcomes. Every question there is no concrete answer. I know that he is one oh the more prominent md's in the field. The obly thong I ask my hep is what he thinks of various supplement, and medications from my current regimen.Good luck,ShaulPSC UC Hi all, I'm going to see my Hepatologist this upcoming Monday for my first 6 month check-up and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for questions I should ask. I'm not having any symptoms and have been feeling completely fine since my diagnosis in October. I don't want to walk out feeling like I could have gotten a lot more out of the visit. Thanks, Jillian
Guest guest
Here are a few of the questions I discussed with my Hep post diagnosis Diet, signs and symptoms that I should seek medical help for not just PSC, but colds, flu, etc, vaccines, How often I should follow up with my local GI doc, How often I should have bloodwork or other test done, I also discussed my hep and local doc's relationship in my care, We also discussed being listed with a low meld score, since I do have cirrhosis, but my meld score is low. My doctor discussed with my husband signs and symptoms he should watch for and when to seek medical attention for me, vacinnes for him. Who to contact if you have any questions. Write down any questions or concerns so that you do not forget to discuss them at your appt. Good Luck, PSC 5/2007 Listed > > I am also curious to hear any additional input on this subject, > please.
