Hi! I can't answer as to the rash/bruising portion of your question, but I am

prone to swelling of the legs, ankles and feet since I've gotten PSC. My

doctors have me on medication (Lasix)(sp?)for it.

I haven't had a rash that's turned into bruises, but I do bruise more easily

than I used to. I don't know if that helps, but I figured I'd mention it for

what it's worth.

Hope you get things figured out soon and that your daughter is getting better as

we speak/write!

I'm not sure this is the same thing, but once or twice a year on hot summer days I get this weird itchy rash on my feet (it sometimes extends up my ankles). I'm told its petechiae. I elevate my feet as much as I can (rest my foot on a box under me desk) and over the next couple of days it fades away.

Has anyone had any type of blotchy rash and swelling of the ankles. My daughters ankle rash has started to turn into the color of bruises.

Could be erythema nodosum which is often associated with inflammatory
