Guest guest
Colleen, the night sweats are normal. Many of us have had them. Some of us have had to get up and change the sheets. Some others have had them discolor their sheets permanently. I think it is most likely the UC as the major culprit because the bowels have a more direct impact on the body's ability to regulate temperature. That is not gospel. I working from memory right now. Nothing I know of helped. Now that my UC is nonactive, I rarely get them. I used to have them every night all night. Take care, Cheryl ID UC/AIH/PSC/fibromyalgia Night Sweats, anyone? > Does anyone else have major night sweats? And is it from my UC or PSC? > > I swear, I am going to bed later and later and later. Guest guest
Cheryl I have the yellowed sheets as a result of them. I normally get up, towel myself off, put on a clean, dry shirt and put a towel down in bed to not have to touch the icky, clammy sheet, or make my husband get up for a wholesale sheet change. He would not be amused! One thing I am thinking about doing is switching over to a wool pillow, mattress pad and pillows. With my little yarn and fiber business, I have come to marvel at what an incredible fiber wool is. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. I am hoping it can help dissipate that heat and keep me more comfortable. When I make the switch, I'll certainly post about it. Colleen > > Colleen, the night sweats are normal.
