I don't think there are many people here with strong objections to research resulting in being able to grow new livers. I am planning on having a new one grown for me when this one wears out. The post transplant survival stats keep going up and I seem to recall someone has gone more then 25 years with a tx, so I figure the researchers have another 15 to 20 years to come up with a plan for growing new livers for all of us, from our own cell lines to eliminate the need for immunosuppresents.
