Hi Everyone,

I wanted to stop by to say hello. I've still been reading the posts

here and there and it looks like there are a lot of great things

going on in the group. I'm happy for that. It also seems like we

have a lot of new members. I'm glad they found such a knowledgeable

and supportive group!

Well, friday was the one year anniversary of Bill's passing. I can't

believe it has been a year. Time flies and life goes on. I miss him

deeply every day but i've learned to accept it and I know that he is

in a better place and free from his suffering. He suffered so much

and I know he hated being stuck in the hospital. And, I have faith

that he is still very much with me and will always be. His parents

recieved cards from his surgeon and his hepatologist from Mt. Sinai

and i know they were comforted by their thoughts.

I'm doing pretty well. The year was tough but i'm starting to see

some progress in myself. I just bought a condo. I closed just

before christmas so it was a fresh start for 2007. Work is going

well and i am lucky to have supportive friends who have been there

for me during the tough times.

I'm planning to run the Long Island Half Marathon on May 6th so I

started training for that. I would love to run it in memory of Bill

and his fight against PSC. I don't think that there is a " Team in

Training " with the American Liver Foundation or for PSC Partners.

However, I thought it would be great if PSC Partners would sponsor me

that way all of the money that I collected would go to research for a

cure for PSC. I thought that would be a great way to honor Bill and

all of my PSC Support friends that were such a great support system

for me during Bill's fight. I'm not sure how to go about doing that

or if you already have a form for me to start receiving donations?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

I hope you are all having a great 2007 so far and I want you all to

know that I still do think about all of you in the fight against PSC

and appreciate your unending kindness and support!

Hope all is well with everyone,

Tina

Hi Tina,

It's good to hear from you again. I'm glad to hear that your supportive

friends have helped you through this very difficult year. Running the half

marathon in memory of Bill and his fight against PSC is a wonderful idea.

Please write to me offline at thesafers@... or at pscpartners@...

and we can figure out how to work this out, OK? Thanks!
