Topical Estrogen side effects

Hello,

I am using a compound which has Lidocaine, Estrogen, Neurontin and

Ketprofen. I just started it 2 days ago, and it BURNS like crazy for

about 45 minutes. I was told to expect this, so I am not worried about

it. But, I noticed that in the morning (I apply the medicine at night)

the vulva skin seems swollen, but not inflammed. I was told that

estrogen topically is used to strenghten and " plump-up " the skin, but

am not sure if this is what I am seeing. Has anyone else had this

strange side effect?

Also, this medicine makes the red and irritated patches much more red

and irritated. The redness decreases as the day wears on. Any other

similar experiences out there?
