Hi all,

Don't have a lot of news but do have a bit. My daughter ended up

losing the baby. Actually, the way the doctor explained it, there

may or may not have ever been a baby, who knows? Anyway I think my

daughter is handling it fairly well. After losing a child to

miscarriage myself 20 some odd years ago, I never wanted her to go

through this, but she is scheduled for D and C Friday and the doc

said should be no problem at all with her getting pregnant again

whenever she felt like trying so she is okay with that.

I went to the hospital this morning for stress 2-D echo. The tech

said my pressures were high for a " normal person (HUH??? I am ABBY-

NORMAL, ya know? HEE HEE!!), but that they were okay for a person

with my lung disease. Then she asked me did the doctor say he wanted

them to " stress me? " I told her no, but that I did tell him I get

more short of breath with any type of activity. She asked me how

long does it take me to get short of breath? I told her less than 5

minutes. She sent me packing down the hall for a walk until I got

short of breath. Took about 2-1/2 minutes. Then she ran me back in

and told me to jump on the table so they could get the measurement

quickly while my heart rate was up. Wow, that machine was pumping

fast!! She said it is supposed to be faster after exercise. She

never did tell me what my pressures were AFTER exercise, so I guess I

will have to wait to find out on that one. That is all I know so

far. I called the GYN clinic this morning to see if my Pap smear

results were back yet from a week and a half ago, but they have not

called back yet. Hopefully they will call me today.

We got a little bit of sleet and ice here this morning, but nothing

like they were predicting, mostly just cold and rain. It is about 38

here now and that is supposed to be the high for today. Is supposed

to be 55 and sunny, though for the SuperBowl on Sunday!! All my

family are pulling for Arizona (we usually go for the underdogs)!! I

like to watch all the new commercials!!
