Stress dosing and a fever??

OK, I'm confused. I've rarely seen 98.6 in the last 4 years, but today

I took 60mg of HC (usually take 30) and have taken a 98.8 temp

tonight. I've not been feeling well and the DR (saw the new one

yesterday!) has ordered ACTH to see if the stress doses are doing the

job, creatinine since a medical history implies they may not be fully

up to speed, a thyroid panel and a couple of heavy metals that have

tested high in the past. I thought my feeling poorly was just a

decline; but with the fever, could my body be trying to fight the

sinus infection I've had for over a year (1-2 antibiotics at all times

to keep it at bay) or is it a side affect from taking twice the

regular dose?

Also, if I do get too much HC, are there any symptoms that would

indicate too much? (other than fracture?)
