Guest guest
I would greatly appreciate any input on how to interpret these results from my saliva kit labs: Cortisol: Morning 13 normal (13-24 norm) Noon 1 depressed (5-10 norm) Afternoon <1 depressed (3-8 norm) Midnight 7 elevated (1-4 norm) Cortisol burden = 22 DHEA = 3 (Patient Result Interpretations Marginal HPA axis performance during the day may be associated with suboptimal hypothalamic pacing of adrenals. Adrenal support suggested. Midnight value is elevated suggesting a lack of sensitivity to suppression at the pituitary-hypothalamic-axis. This condition is usually associated with a tendency to endogenous depression, and REM sleep disruptions. Minimal cortisol rhythm; cortisol augmentation and anabolic support suggested.) What does " anabolic support " mean? Thyroid: Thyroid stimulating hormone = 83 Normal (Normal: 26-85 nIU/ml) ft4 = 0.18 (Normal: 0.17-0.42 ng/dl) ft3 = 0.43 (Normal: 0.28-1.10 pg/ml) TPO = Negative I'm on Synthroid, looking to switch to Armour, but first I need to address adrenals. Hormones: Estradiol = 12 (leutal 7-20) Progesterone >1,000 (leautal 65-500) Testosterone = 11 (8-20 norm) THANK YOU!!!
