Thanks everyone.

I do think the vomiting was due to the meds -- they seem to really dope people

up for an

ERCP -- and understandably so. It was the worst recovery I've ever had of all

the

procedures. General doesn't even do that to me. And it was demerol, versed and

fentanyl.

Of course, it could have been my husband's driving that was to blame as well!

I should have clarified who did the procedure: Kelsey at Mass General did

it. He is an

endoscopy specialist. This is what he does, all day, every day. I can't think of

a place

where I can get more specialized care than I am currently receiving. One of my

husband's

college buddies is a bariatric surgeon in Denver, and he assures me that the

Harvard team

is one of the best, and that being an hour outside Boston, I'm in the right

" neighborhood "

for top-notch care.

So, now what?

Colleen

a

difference. Mine was at 2:00 PM and he'd already done about 12 or so. You may

want to

check for another one.

Dear Colleen,I would still go to Mayo in Rochester where they have the most experience with PSC.There are lots of good competent Dr's in Boston, but Mayo Rochester is where the PSC patients flock whenthey have a problem. Mayo has learned to deal with these problems since they see the most of them.Take care and good luck,LeeI should have clarified who did the procedure: Kelsey at Mass General did it.
