Guest guest
Hello all...As my subject line states..Mike's knee couldn't wait until Fall for replacement. So, we're getting stuff set here this week. Casseroles, extra shopping, moving stuff out of the way like throw rugs and movable furniture that might get in the way of a walker. He goes in the hospital on Monday very early and will be home (barring trouble) on Wednesday afternoon. Our Youngest Son Sam will be staying here for a few days to help out in what ever we need. He works crazy hours ands goes to college but will be here the rest of the time. That will give me chances to relax and literally catch my breath. The doctor is a family friend with the best reputation with knees and was able to get Mike scheduled quickly. The Dr. has already said that he doesn't want me( because of the NSIP) to stay in the hospital very long...we live only 15 minutes away. So I'll get Mike situated, go home, and then go back when the surgery is over and Mike is in his room. Even then, I'll wear my mask. ..Sam, will help with anything that Mike usually does like heavy cooking, heavy lifting, trash, lugging laundry. He'll be able to keep Mike company so I'll be able to walk outside weather permitting. Another topic...SARA IS ONE YEAR OLD TODAY...isn't it amazing how fast time flies? She spent this afternoon here walking continuously...she's a little walking machine. I'm pooped! She sat long enough for lunch, stayed sort of still for a diaper change, but that's it. She walked and explored this entire house, trying door knobs, drawer pulls, cabinets. We've sort of baby proofed the house but I followed her around. Did I say I was pooped? I'll post the official One Year photo as soon as I get it. Welcome to the newbies... and and the nameless( wlfurr55) person from this morning. As you can see we don't always post about PF, but it flavors our lives each day. You've found the right place with the best people. Welcome to the "air family" I won't be on the chat line tonight, we have company for dinner.Mike is doing the cooking!!! At least I get good left-overs for next week! -- Z fibriotic NSIP/05 Z 65, fibriotic NSIP/o5/PA And “mild” PH/10/07 and Reynaud’s too!! No, NSIP was not self-inflicted…I never smoked!
