Guest guest
Last winter I was at Walmart. A little boy of about 3 saw me and held out his hand to me. I took his little hand and said "how are you?". He said "I sick" then I noticed the snotty nose--extremely snotty nose. And I was holding the little guy's HAND! Geez. I extracted my hand and he said "go home with you". He was so sick and I guess he figured any gramma would take him home instead of making him shop. Shame on his momma. His mom made him come away and I went around the corner and doused my hand with sanitizer. The I went straight to the restroom and scrubbed up like I was going into surgery. I can't stand being sick!I feel so angry with moms who drag such sick little kids out. I guess it's different if mom has to go to an appointment but they shouldn't take them shopping. When I'm sick I want to stay home and be comfortable and children aren't any different. Okay...climbing off my soapbox! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Many ladys are simply flat-lined and despondent and it shows in the handling and maintenance of them and their kids. I am glad we can help keep them propped up but know they leave and go back out to a life that is so difficult. I've had kids in there that were literally making a pool of snot on the floor below them, and a probably 4 yr old that reeked of urine so badly and wanted to play at my reception desk. I absolutely love the little ones that come in that are clean! I actually wipe the entire desk area, handles and chair and computer stuff too down with disinfectant before the day starts...just ewww. I love my kids but am not a "kid person" per say. My mom babysat little ones until her mid 50's so you'd think I'd be able to do it...nope. One year and found it to be such a bother and ugh that I started a pet sitting practice instead to make some income, and went back to school. so funny.Dee
