My husband and I had fear free sex. According to Rhonda, I was supposed to wait longer, but I was wanting to try it since so much of my pain was gone and I have so much more control with the PFDs. My husband wasn't planning on us going through with it, so it was all in my hands. I put lidocaine on the skin that was still tender, did my PFDs and it went beautifully! I had no pain, actually, I had pleasure. And the best part of all, there was no fear of pain or guilt. I could just enjoy it. I've never had that...I've always had pain and fear and this shows me that things can get better and will get better and that mentally I will not be frozen in this pain cycle even though it's always been there.
