I got a prescription for compazine, which is strictly for nausea and

vomiting (to prevent it). When thinks get really bad, I stop acidic drinks

and food, including coffee, and switch to tea. Tomatoes & citric fruits are

also really acidic, and she may want to avoid it when the nausea is

occuring. Also, an antacid such as pepcid may help. Whatever she takes, I

would discuss it with the hepatologist.

It seems difficult to find out what things are related

to PSC and what are not.

Tell me about it. That is a big part of

the problems I have with PSC. Whenever I don't feel good in some way or another

I get the creeps. Fortunately reading on this forum helps to find out what is

" typical " and what is not for PSC patients.
