Guest guest
Tim, Thats positive news!. Iam dealing with bone loss in my hips (somewhat painful) and would like to show your post and Vons post regarding higher Vit D dosage to my GI/HEP. Iam dealing with the VA so there are no guarantees, but I can try. Are you being perscribed the Vit D in a liquid form?. Thanks Andi > > > > Fosamax-D only has 2,800 units/week which is a good start but may not > > enough for PSC patients. Guest guest
> Are you being perscribed the Vit D in a liquid form?. No, my prescription is for 50,000 IU vitamin D capsules. They are a bright blue, about 12 mm long (1/2 inch). An easy one to swallow. This latest increase was based on some very low blood levels (7 and 8 when 30 is considered adequate) so you may need testing done before you can get prescription strength vitamin D. Good luck.
