I agree that there needs to be better training to all staff in general...and I know this is not what you're saying but...it doesn't really matter what kind of training someone has or what kind of money they make. It's someone's morals that need check in a situation like this. You don't treat anyone like that, period. That it was someone who couldn't even defend himself just makes it more sickening. That the staff couldn't care about repercussions shows us how broken the system.Sent from a's iPhone

This is gut wrenching is every way. There was a camera on this bus and the staff could care less. Not only are these people not trained, they basically make minimum wage. It's all so wrong on so many levels. :-(http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/10/moises-mancebo-abused-on-bus-darryl-blue_n_2106901.html

I agree with you, a. This person appears devoid of empathy for special needs children. That kind of blantant abuse makes me wonder what else this man is capable of. He is a danger to our beautiful children. Interesting that he abused a child that has little recourse at the time of the incident. Do you think this would have been tolerated on a bus full of general education children? Do we need something more horrific to demand change? WE are their voices.
