just had positive glabrata test

hi everyone--

i'm kind of in shock right now. a couple weeks ago i posted that i got

this doc at the student health clinic to order me a yeast stool

culture for yeast when i started having rectal symptoms. i was amazed

that i convinced him to order this test as i've never been able to get

any " conventional " doc to help me out in this arena.

anyway, after calling and calling to get a copy of the results, i got

them in the mail and it is positive for glabrata.

i just don't know what i'm supposed to do. i have taken antifungals

(ketoconazole, fluconazole, ampho b, boric acid, you name it) out the

wah-zoo.

unfortunately, even though i requested it, they did not do a

sensitivity. at least they did the typing.

as i've mentioned a lot, i dealth with yeast issues many years ago,

but have had all negative cultures ever since this blasted vulvar pain

started.

please help!
