After 25yrs of thryroid replacement and Hashi's, my thyroid gland has atrophed

and no longer produces any hormones.

My rt3 is very high, ft3 low normal and ft4 low normal on 3 grains of Armour.

Tsh is very low, .004. My adrenals hormones when tested by blood, 24hr urine and

saliva are low normal. Saliva test shows below normal morning, noon and afernoon

and very high evening. Started Isocort 3-2-1 about a month ago and feel much

better, temps have stabilized at 97.5. Ferritin is good.

When I go to t3 only, how long should it take to clear rt3 since I do not

produce t4 and will not be taking t4? Am I correct in thinking I do not have to

take a large dose of t3 as I do not have to suppress t4? I plan on taking 50mcg

of Cytomel in doses of 15, 15, 10 and 10 at bedtime.
