McKay and school school choice?

hoping someone has a quick answer for this. my son was all set to attend school

for next year however we just learned that his teacher (a deciding factor in

staying at this school) would not be returning. the incoming teacher is brand

new to the school so we have no experience with her and as of yet know nothing

about her background. we had been considering a public school in parkland that

seems to have a great cluster program but now we have missed the window for

reassignment.

so my question is this. are the rules regarding reassignment the same for mckay

students. or are we basically unable to get him into our school of choice at

this point. any information is greatly appreciated.
