Guest guest
SATURDAY, AUGUST 09, 2008 12:15 PM, CDT Ken seems to be stuck in the rejection pool without a ladder. His liver numbers are some better, but not much. Bilirubin is 9.3. They 'might' do the biopsy on Monday, but we're just not sure. It all depends on his liver numbers coming down to a level the doctor's like. They won't even consider placing the stent until the biopsy comes back OK. But, it almost feels like we're running out of time. Kim is coming in today, we tried to talk her out of it, but being a Henshaw (poor thing) she was born hard headed (like her father!) Ken will greatly appreciate staring at someone other than me.This morning they finally put in a PICC line. Yeah! No more sticking him. I'm beginning to think they should pass a law that all transplant patients should get PICC lines the minute they walk into the hospital door. That's it from here, we wait.....
