Suzanne,I've never had private insurance for Noah, only Medicaid, and have always been completely happy with the physicians we've used. Of course, as was pointed out previously, when our kids do inevitably become adults, say over age 21, there are far fewer physicians who will treat them, who accept Medicaid. I have a question regarding medicaid as primary and secondary insurance. My son is on the medwaiver and he currently has medicaid as his secondary insurance. He is insured on our family plan since it doesnt cost us more to keep him on. We were always told to keep him on the private as well because of the choice in doctors. We have a lot of out of pocket expenses with the private insurance as far as deductibles and copays. We were wondering if anyone else has taken their child off of private insurance and how medicaid has been working out for them. He will be 16 in August.Thanks for your help!Suzanne
