Shiatsu massage and chelation

I had a strange experience with round 3 and wondering if anyone has advice.

I felt a bit better as usual when starting the round. Then on day 3 I had a

shiatsu massage. I'd never had one before and it felt like something which

would be helpful, as she was digging hard into various muscles, etc, some of

which were rather tender. I thought it might help the chelation by

'loosening stuff up'. Well, I felt ok afterward, and in a few hours I was

very tired, but a 'good' tired. Still had my typical insomnia problems

though and ended up taking a lunesta (which does not tend to bother me).

Well, I woke up feeling awful and have felt awful ever since, with a

headache for days and completely wiped out, etc. I continued the round as I

had planned (5 days this time), and this is my first day off. I still feel

pretty crappy and have the headache. Last night, about 7 hours or so after

the last dose I had an episode of strangely intense anger when I couldn't

find an important paper I needed. I had been trying to have a very peaceful

'adrenal rest' type of day. I started beating magazines on the table and

slamming doors, and wound up hyperventilating lying on a bed. Fortunately my

husband found the paper, or I don't know what I would have done. I was

looking for something safe to break, I felt like if I'd had a gun I would

have put it to my head and pulled the trigger. (I wouldn't have, but then I

don't keep guns...). The whole anger thing passed rather quickly, but it was

sad that I lost all ability to cope with this minor issue.

I'm concerned about what this massage might have done, and whether I should

have another one, perhaps off round. I have one scheduled for Sunday, which

will be 4 days off round, but have been feeling I should cancel it. If this

was redistibuting mercury instead of getting rid of it, then not such a good

idea I guess. Does it always mean redistribution when you get headaches and

feel a lot worse? What does it mean that I usually feel better on round, but

after the massage the round felt worse?

Also, I've been avoiding taking any medication for this relentless headache,

and wondering if that is necessary. I have a prescription for Tylenol 3

(with codeine), for just such headaches (which I don't get very often, but

when I do, one of these usually relieves it), but am avoiding taking it .

Will it interfere with anything or do more damage or stress?

Thanks for any advice,

NJ
