Guest guest
I cook 2 batches at a time. When I opened the lid of one after 24 hrs, the water inside smelled kinda gross. Did it have that fermented milk smell? Maybe some of your milk mixture got into the water as you put it in, and it fermented along with the rest of it. I don't have a Yogourmet so I'm not even sure this could happen, but it's a thought. The lid on the yogurt was sealed and the yogurt smelled OK. The water in the other one was fine. Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa =D
Guest guest
Well, as long as the container was sealed and it didn't get contaminated, and it smells and tastes okay, shd be okay. If you are very worried, use that batch only for cooking Mara > I cook 2 batches at a time. When I opened the lid of one after 24 > hrs, the water inside smelled kinda gross. Guest guest
It had a " sour " smell. Maybe fermented milk? I can't imagine what else. I did not cook anything else at the time and it was clean. I may use it in baking though. Thanks, PJ > > > I cook 2 batches at a time. When I opened the lid of one after 24 > > hrs, the water inside smelled kinda gross.
