Guest guest
Hello Everyone, UC has started enrolling PSC patients in the STOPSC project and in some other ongoing research. Because Dr. Bowlus at UCD is going to be doing genetic research as part of STOPSC he will be enrolling patients in the UCD DNA bank for the purpose regardless of when they were diagnosed. Dr. Bowlus is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UC . He is a hepatologist and a very dedicated researcher and clinician. For years he has been doing PSC research despite very small amounts of funding. He's my PSC doctor and I respect him and like him as a person. Because there are no STOPSC centers for adult PSCers in southern California and in some states neighboring California, I hope those of you who can travel to California will enroll in STOPSC at UC . The more people who participate in PSC research the sooner we can find treatments and possibly a cure. is a college town about 15 miles west of Sacramento. Participants will be seen at the UC Medical Center in Sacramento, unless other arrangements are made with the patient coordinator, Marilyn The following is information on enrollment is PSC research at U.C. .
