I went on the internet and got one on CompactAppliance. com. There are different sizes. I figured this one was for the long haul and I have some long road trips planned so I got a larger one. Then I also bought a converter to plug it into the wall ( they plug into the lighter in the car), and a battery charger in case I needed it. The plus was the free shipping (through today it said ) which was good. PJ>> How much does a travel fridge cost? Is it very large? (yeah, stupid ? but I want to be sure, since I've never had a part-time fridge before) Do any of the mini fridges work or is there a specific type for the car? What's the battery charger for? The fridge? Sorry for so many questions =) I doubt I'll even get one, but if I do I want to be educated. Thanks! Guest guest
some fit between the seats. I just realized I measured wrong and contacted the company for a smaller one. The battery charger I guess works for those with a battery. I'll let you know. I guess you can store them where you have room :)Thanks PJ. Turns out we're going to FL this summer, so I may be getting one after all =) Luckily, my mom says she sees them all the time at Yard Sales, so I should be able to get a good deal.
