Guest guest
Hey Colleen, I remember you too. I laid off for a few years too, for similar reasons and just recently started up again. Imuran and 6-mp are used for AIH and for UC. I was on imuran until I developed a sudden and severe reaction to it, switched to 6-mp; took it for years until my blood counts--all of them--WBC,RBC, Hematicrit, etc ran low for nearly six months, Took me off of it. Blood counts still stayed low for another 4 months. They did a bone marrow biopsy--OUCH! I didn't have luekemia. MY counts eventually went normal with occasional stray low counts. I don't take it any more, but my UC is not active, yea! For what it's worth I think your AST and ALT seem quite high for PSC. Is it possible you have AIH/PSC overlap syndrome? That is what they finally diagnosed me with. Clear back pr dx they give me brief dx of PBC, AIH/autoimmune cholangitis syndrome, treat me with prednisone, finally did ERCP, then dx me with PSC, took me off of pred, then two years ago agreed I really did have PSC/AIH with overlap syndrome. I hope the 6-mp works for you. I too am suffering terribly from fatigue, itching, and pain. Take care, Cheryl in ID, PSC/AIH, UC, fibromyalgia, etc Re: I'm still kicking! > Yep! That is it!
