Guest guest
Hi Eileen! Losing weight is the most hardest thing that I have to do. I lost 50 pounds 4 years ago but have more to go. I have been to a dietician or nutritionist as she is part of my PREP (exercise) class. After trying to figure out what I could stick to, I came up with this: I try to eat around 1200 calories a day and my plan is: one starch or bread at breakfast, two fruits, one fat, and one cup of milk or dairy. Lunch is: two starches or two breads, one veggie (1/2) cup, one fruit(1/2) cup, one fat, one meat. I leave off the meat at breakfast and try to stick it in at lunch. Sometimes I leave off meat period. At dinner I have 1 meat, 1 bread or starch, 1 veggie, 1 fruit, and 1/2 cup of milk or dairy. Bedtime snack includes: milk or dairy and maybe two graham crackers. I was on this diet in November & december until the end of the third week of December. Now I am ready to get back to normal because I did feel better when I was eating right. I also go to a class to exercise but I can only go during the hours of the class. It is located ina large wellness center but I have to be monitored because I am on oxygen. I want to try going five days a week instead of 3 days per week. The nurse at Emory told me to exercise everyday 7 days but I don't do it. I know I am going to try to do better. I have small weights at home and I do those sometimes, too. I have researched many diets, etc. and I feel that this is the one for me. I don't want to go to weight watchers or spend lots of money on doing this. I had the scales located near the kitchen but Eddie moved them during Christmas. I just wanted to let you know what I am trying to do. Take care. Toodles!
