Guest guest
> > I have a hard time remembering to take my meds. I was always pretty good about taking meds pre-transplant, but got sloppy post-tx. Since anti-rejection meds are now de rigueur for me, I started wearing a wristwatch for the first time since I was twelve. The little alarm sounds twice a day and, like Pavlov's dog, I take my pills from a 35mm film canister that I keep in my pocket. Easy. As an added bonus, I now know what time it is without having to ask someone!
Guest guest
I've had UC for just over 30 years now - medication is second nature. I doubt if I miss one dose in a month, on the average. I keep a little dish at home, and fill it at meal times. The only times I ever forget are lunch at work, but I'm right back at it when I get home. Arne Hey all, I have a question. I am currently taking several medication and I know that I have to take them to stay well and healthy for my family... Can you all offer me some suggestions and to what I can do to help remember to take my meds? Whitfield UC 97 PSC
Guest guest
I am in front of a computer all day and I have setup reminder's on Outlook. You can set them as private so no one else can see it. arman_shirin@... Medications. Hey all, I have a question. I am currently taking several medication and I know that I have to take them to stay well and healthy for my family. I have a hard time remembering to take my meds. I try doing it with my meals but there are days when I only eat two meals and I have to take my meds three times a day. I have gotten me a daily pill box but that doesn't seem to help me. I keep losing the days boxes plus I don't take the time to refill them. Can you all offer me some suggestions and to what I can do to help remember to take my meds? Guest guest
Do you have a cell phone? I swear, my cell phone is like my back up brain. Most cell phones have calenders where you can set reminders. I set a reminder for my medications and it goes of everyday at 7 am and 7pm. It helps me remember. And I keep a little container with a couple doses of each of my medicines with me in case I'm not home at " med time " . PSC & PBC
