Guest guest
" If FT3 is under range then your thyroid is suppressed successfully. " Sorry, but what do you mean by " under range " . Shouldn't the FT3 be at the top of the range? Did you mean RT3? " TSH will show if thyroid is pooling due to low ferritin or cortisol " How will it show if it's pooling? If it's more than .01 does that mean it's pooling? Could you clarify, please? Thanks! > > >Hi, I was just wondering if it's a good idea to test TSH while on the RT3 protocol. My doc requested Free T4/T3 and RT3 but didn't include TSH and I wanted to know if it's necessary to see if the thyroid is suppressed. > > If FT3 is under range then your thyroid is suppressed successfully. > > TSH will show if thyroid is pooling, due to low ferritin or cortisol, > but is not useful apart from that. > > A reading of around 0.01 is an optimum TSH > > Nick > > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com >
