Hello

I was wondering is anyone taking little T4 medication i.e.(25mg) with their

armour or compounded porcine. I was told that we need to add because eventually

the T3 pushes the T4 way down. I have talked to several people that do this and

do well because we both neeed T4 and T3 because of the converion process. That

the liver and other tissues in the body help wth converting T4 to T3 along with

thyroid gland.

Also, I am experiencing a thyroid dump where it seems my thyroid hormone is

pooling in my bloodstream and when i take my steriods (for primary adrenal

insufficiency/addison) it pushes the thyroid hormones quickly into my cells

causing terrible hot flashes, achy all over. Now these doctors are tyring to say

I may have myofascial syndrome or something. I think Dr Lowe

(thyroid/fibromyalgia researcher at drlowe.com) is right. Due from Thryoid

resistant.

I was told that I am not on enough hydrocortisone but it can be confussing

because too much hydrocortisone can also cause hot flashes. However, I do not

have other symptoms of elevated hydrocortisone like weight gain..I actually am

losing weight and look little dehydated on arms, and elbows where my skin is

sticking together. When I do florinef it cause too much bloating and i get

tingling in arms and feet. So I stop the florinef. I just add sea salt to my

water and that helps. I use to be low in sodium..As we all know addison cause

sodium wasting, and weight lost.

None of this doctors help ...I have been to many endo and they try to blame it

on something else. Any information would be greatly appreciated with you

situation. I know we are all different, but it may help give me some ideas. My

T3 is always more on the lower end but in normal range. T4 is usually around .9

and TSh is around .3
