Guest guest
Hi! Have done 5 rounds of DMSA (12.5 mg). As far as I have been able to find I have had 'typical'chelating symtoms. Before I started chelating, and before I had my amalgams removed, I had (among others) problems with joint pain and itchy skin (no rash). These symptoms came back during the first couple of rounds and went away between rounds. Now it seems the situation has changed. I got the joint pain and slight itch just before I started round 5. This stopped while on round, but came back after round 5 (last dose tuesday morning). Now the itching has increades, to an extent that it makes it difficult to go to sleep. I itch 'everywhere'; head, gace, back, chest, hands, feet... What is causing this itching ? I haven't changed my diet or my supplements. I has been a little more than 2 months since I had my last filling removed, but I only started chelating a month ago. Is it likely that my organs has started dumping mercury ? I can't really say I have gotten much better since I started chelating, although I have regained some of the lost energy the lack og energy has been and still is my biggest problem). Should I maye try to increase the dosage ? (Had a slight increase on round 4, 16.7 mg, but desided to go back to 12.5 mg for round 5 because of a increase in yeast/candida problems, which now seems to be under control again...). - Kyrre

TK-- no, not if you are currently having this problem. Fix the problem first, then see if the current dosage is causing it. Itching is a common side effect but there are many allergins [besides food] which can also cause this. You have had this before - what was it's cause then and how did you treat it ?
