It’s now a misdemeanor to†flatulate†in public. Lawyers have raised an interesting legal question however: "what does the arresting officer present to the judge as evidence of the crime?" There’s a lot of resistance to the new law, and the rate of public flatulence has skyrocketed. Most of the people think that things were better before the new law. You just did what you did, when you wanted to do it, and nobody else made a big stink about it.Congresswoman Michele Bachmann recently "gassed" a whole elevator full of people. It's one thing to "let off" on the floor of the House, (all the members do that, frequently), but in a crowded elevator???!!!. Pulease. Ms. Bachmann almost had us convinced that she is superior to everyone else, but now we find that she is as full of "you know what" as the rest of us. Perhaps Ms. Bachmann would find the "atmosphere" in Malawi more familiar, and soothing to her olfactory senses, but it isn't likely that she will move there, nor give up her seat in Congress. Therefore, our only defense, whenever Ms. Bachmann is "within firing range" is to make sure that we are "standing upwind".
