I would start no higher than 12.5 mg ALA. Some people do fine with

ALA alone. (See Val's recent post). Some people are more sensitive.

I don't think you will know how you do on it until you try.

If you believe you are " seriously poisoned " , then I would start

lower than 12.5 mg.

Since you have only taken ALA along with DMSA in the past, the DMSA

could be suppressing symptoms. That's why I think it is best to

start low with it, even if you did fine with 25 mg in combo with

DMSA.
