Guest guest
As others have told you, Huggins while a great man, was not a chemist, nor knowledgeble in chelation. He has his patients follow a holistic detox plan that does not include chelators. His books provide us with the information for safe removal, and with what amalgams do to our bodies. But for your recovery, you have to look elsewhere. Removing them is just the beginning. Personally, I can tell you that I had mine removed on his protocol. I took the herbs they gave me. I still felt icky post removal as is expected. I was told " more suana's " , Which I did. But by the third month post removal, I could feel that my body was releasing mercury faster than I could physically dump it. I was sicker, fatigued, and felt horrible. I had serious adrenal symptoms, anxiety, I was coming undone and quickly. I had already knew of Andy's protocol and had planned to get to it at some point. However, when I posted my Post removal symptoms...I was told to begin dmsa. I did, and with the first round, I knew it was what I needed. It immediately calmed things down. I felt better. So from that point on I have been doing rounds and supporting adrenals/thyroid etc. So while Huggins is great, one cannot detox naturally if they were very poisoned. And also, it will not come out of your brain. Your cellular mercury may dump over the years, but not the brain. That can take upwards of 25 years if ever on it's own. By then, I would have Alzheimer's...so I chose to chelate. Hope this helps some...best wishes. > > I read a message on this discussion list that seems to be in conflict > with Huggins info pertaining to " after amalgam removal. " The post here > was saying (as I understood it) that the body dumps mercury post amalgam > removal and this increase has to be dealt with through a chelation plan > or else the person may suffer some damaging consequences. > > Not once have I come across any information of the sort in the Huggins > literature and books. The Huggins literature does state that the body > will release mercury that is stored in tissue after amalgam removal but > there is no indication of consequences or " need " to chelate
