Guest guest Posted May 12, 2009 Report Share Posted May 12, 2009 An update from the Trauma Registry folks: DSHS Trauma Registry Improvement System Assessment (TRISA) Project Weekly Update, Week of May 4, 2009 The Map and Report vendor (MTG Management Consultants) submitted their Project Management Plan. The work plan is divided into four phases: 1) Project Management, 2) Evaluate Current Environment, 3) Evaluate Other State Solutions 4) Develop Recommended Alternatives. The Stakeholder Facilitation Plan has been finalized. DSHS staff and MTG will work with the RAC Chairs to strategically locate user input meetings throughout the state. Both EMS and hospital providers will have an opportunity to provide input during these sessions. The current plan is to meet with EMS providers in the mornings from 8am-12pm, and with hospital trauma center providers in the afternoons from 1pm-5pm. It is expected that meetings will be held at locations and facilities that will facilitate maximum participation. Each meeting will be conducted in the same manner with a focus on the desired features of a new Registry.
