Guest guest
Dear Carol and others, I found the SparkPeople site's Nutrition Calculator useful--as celiac Carol Heppner suggested--even though I'm trying to GAIN weight. (Thank you, Carol. Joining was my healthy birthday project for today.) Once you learn to use the " Add Foods " tool to create a set of favorite (GF) items, you just IGNORE the wheaty meal plans, add items from your self-compiled list of favorites and groupings, and watch the nutrition calculations at the bottom of the calculator. I programmed the page to keep track of my calories, calcium (I'm completely dairy intolerant) and copper. This tool might help motivate me to add those daily servings of broccoli or kale! (Especially since I made the page my browser home page.) Here's to complex (GF) carbs! (aka Jazzabelle)
