Guest guest
I take Shaklee Vitalizer+iron. The product label states (http://www.shaklee.net/pws/library/products/20247_label.pdf): A - 5000 IU (100% MDR) D - 600 IU (150% MDR) E - 200 IU (~700% MDR) K - 80 mcg (100% MDR) I did a fair amount of research before taking this. Although the % of MDR is high for some vitamins, it's a LONG way from toxic levels. For example, this study (http://www.emedicine.com/Med/topic2384.htm) showed a possible increase in mortality (of the study participants) at dosages above 400 IU/d. There are contraindications (as in use of anticoagulants), so make sure you consult with the physician. I remember reading a previous email regarding vitamins for PSC. It stated that psc patients are low in...... A,K,D, and one other one? Please help if you can. Thanks in advance. Lori A.
