Guest guest
MONDAY, AUGUST 04, 2008 06:08 PM, CDT The doctor making rounds this week is the head of Baylor's transplant program! So we really lucked out and if there are any decisions to be made, he's certainly the man to make them. When he came into Ken's room this morning, he listened to report, looked at Ken's labs and declared 'he needs an angiogram'. Before anyone could bat an eye, the doctor said 'as long as he's here, hasn't had any Coumadin and is going for the biopsy anyway, let's do the angiogram now'. Ken has been wanting another angiogram (it's really the best way to see how the clots are doing) so he was OK with them poking both ends at the same time. Me? Not so much....... I'm worried about what they'll find. He's been gone 4 hours and still not back.....seems like it's taking forever. We were told this doctor doesn't do rounds until 11 - 11:30, so I won't update again until tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers.
