They want to do this to my brother to relieve pressure. I thought he had this done but was wrong, they did a biopsy instead. I guess we would like to know what the recovery time, improvement and quality of life after. Currently he is having a difficult time keeping his iron levels up. Will this shunt improve that? Glenn is in Canada and I just learned he has appointments with specialists in the morning who are pushing to do this soon .Appreciate all info. This is a very generous group. Bless you all.
