I didn't put raisins in the cookies this time but sometimes I do. I add more brown sugar to my cookies and that makes them crunchy. Sometimes, though, I like soft oatmeal cookies. I don't have a recipe for the meatloaf. This time I didn't have any onions so I scrounged around and found an envelope of Lipton's Onion Soup mix and added that. I like to put oatmeal in as an extender but also added some bread crumbs. I used a small can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, two duck eggs, and garlic powder. It's an easy meal and the grandkids love meatloaf. They only get it from me when their dad is gone because he hates meatloaf. So it's a special thing to make, as far as they are concerned. Funny huh? lolhugs

Oatmeal cookies my fav! Do you make them with raisins? Meatloaf is great; what's your recipe?Lloyd cooks a few choice meals--other than hamburgers and enchiladas, the kids turn their noses up at his cooking. They much prefer my chili and baked ziti.Tonight I think we are just going to order out for pizza. I did get stuff to make chili for one night, and meatballs and spag for another night. It's been great to hear from folks now that you sent out that email, Sharon!love to all,Kate

Chicken enchiladas sounds so good Kate! Does Lloyd cook a lot? I'm making meatloaf for dinner. My grandkids all love it when I make meatloaf:)Today I made a batch of oatmeal cookies as a special treat for the grandkids. Their mom gave them some hard, outside chores and I decided they needed a "special". They ate and ate and ate... lol hugs

Hi Sharon!I'm around ,but busy with Munchkin! Also had my PT evaluation yesterday. Went well. Very nice woman, Janet. Think they can help me with balance issues. It does seem quiet around here...Maybe we should ask everyone 'what's for dinner'? We're having chicken enchiladas! Lloyd made them. Should be ready in about a half-hour. Yum!love to all, and hoping everyone is ok,Kate
