Guest guest
nne, BRAVO for asking the questions about the different names for v.pain! I am so tired of hearing the different names...it all amounts to the same thing anyway....VULVAR pain! It's so true that the same meds are usually tried in one form or another by just about all of us. Like Lindsey said, "ALL PAIN HAS NERVE INVOLVEMENT". It just makes more sense to try treatments and pass on tips...then fuss over v.this or v.that...Vulvodynia sums it up - pain in the vulva! I'm about ready to tell everyone that I have cooties... that's right, LOL...cooties! I think it's been talked about for so long that people would understand the word cooties better than when I say Vulvodynia! ;0) Sorry the assistant was so against your surgeries...but you have to make that decision for yourself. If you are comfortable with it, then go for it! If not, then don't. Considering you are pretty much bed-ridden, then I say you have to do what you have to do! Life is too short to give up or stop living (or stop trying)! I think there is nothing wrong with trying to inform others when you have knowledge (especially) first hand experience with a treatment...but NONE of us can say for sure...don't do this, or don't try that! Okay, I"ll stop ranting...THANKS for the info...and my prayers are with your for those surgeries... ~Chelle
