Guest guest
They enroll high functioning aspi- not students with autism. They are very big on structure and from what I have heard if you are looking for a school that discipline is a priority then this is a school that may work for you. However, I cannot stress the value of going into a variety of schools and go on a tour and sit in on the orientation-it really helps to make an educated decision when comparing schools and programs that will best fit a students needs. Guest guest
I agree with your statement about Kentwood (now AEF Schools) and the students/discipline, etc., but they also have a program for kids with more needs, called Westham. They have three separate locations close to each other and staff transitions. Their focus is on higher functioning aspi kids and social interaction. I like the program. To: sList Sent: Tue, July 31, 2012 2:28:08 PMSubject: RE: Kent wood Academy They enroll high functioning aspi- not students with autism.
