Guest guest
I'm really struggling with a lack of guidance in the books and files on serious congestion & inflammation issues right now. Yesterday, after Ultrasound results, I was put through a " Hidascan " (sp? Heidascan?) - which took almost two hours & required both a radioactive injection & another injection for observing liver/gallbladder function. I fully expect to be told I have a duodenal ulcer & inflammation (which would be very old & I find was overlooked by doctors years ago), blocked bile ducts, and gallbladder blockage. There are large liver tumors, too, which were found in '03. Since I need lots of digestive enzymes, pancreatic function probably is weak. I was told to expect endoscope-type testing & perhaps one other procedure, and have suspected I have Crohn's for some time. The books offer very little information on situations like this. I don't want to think about surgery/hospitalization, which we are to avoid. And I REALLY don't want to be injected or knocked out with any more toxins. I'm very chemical sensitive and sensitive to many foods & phenolic compounds. On the other hand, the books tell us not to do gallstone/liver cleases. I am certain the accelerated movement of mercury and other toxins from my liver caused my duodenum/upper small intestine to flare up. I was at 12 mg ALA/50mg DMSA, and 2-3 days off round when things really blocked up. I've lost ten pounds in the last two weeks and won't have much left to go on if this continues. I'm not on cortisol & don't have access to a doctor comfortable with this. I've supplemented with Isocort since January, but it contains lactase & lactose. Dairy has been a life-long problem, but I haven't identified what the problem is other than NAET testing confirming sensitivity. I feel as STUCK with chelation as my liver is STUCK with junk. What is appropriate from here? Thanks for any guidance. My doctor is very willing to listen to suggestions you might relay. Could I ask her to call you? Guest guest
Not Andy here, but I just want to say that chelation and Andy's books are not a substitute for proper treatment of significant issues (such as serious congestion/inflammation, gallbladder blockage, possible Crohn's, liver tumors, etc). Of course it is nice to avoid surgery/hospitalization when possible, but some symptoms require proper diagnosis and possible treatment by an MD. -- > > I'm really struggling with a lack of guidance in the books and files > on serious congestion & inflammation issues right now. > > Yesterday, after Ultrasound results, I was put through a " Hidascan " > (sp?
